Liquid Limbs have been camped out at Crescendo Sound Studios here in Gainesville working on what will be their first full length record. The guys laid down 11 tracks and with the help of some friends managed to get a trumpet, a flute, bells and harmonica on the record to compliment Kevin's brutal guitar sound. Engineers Ryan Williams and Derron Neuhfur are working on the mixes and we couldn't be more excited. We've posted one of the new tracks up on the Sound Study myspace page for anyone looking to get a sneak peak. Check out "Hollow Me Out" .

YOUNG LIVERS/ARMY OF PONCH "LIVE AT THE ATLANTIC"

We recorded this January 26th at the Atlantic. This show went really well, thanks to everyone that came out. The live tracks are currently being mixed and a preview should be making their way to the myspace page within a few weeks, so keep an ear out. Expect the 7" to be out this Summer. LIQUID LIMBS JOIN SOUND STUDY

Our first two releases are nearing completion and we couldn't be more excited.
The Liquid Limbs debut LP titled "Orquid" is offically done being tracked and mixed and is currently being mastered by Nick Zampiello at New Alliance. The artwork for the record is also nearing its final stages. Our good friend Kyle Borchgardt has been locked up in his studio for a little over a month now, working on a painting that is blowing our minds. It won't be long until this thing is on it's way to the pressing plant. We are expecting a July release, so keep an eye out.
The first 7" of the Live at the Atlantic series will be making it's way to you soon as well. Short of a few touch ups the mixes are done and the bands have picked out which songs will appear on the record. Get excited for "America's #1 Snack Cake" and "Joe vs. The Tornado" from Army of Ponch and "Drinks Are Our Amnesty" and "Fairwell" from Young Livers. Some clips from these tracks should be available online in the near future.

August 2nd, we will be literally giving these things away. Young Livers and Army of Ponch will be coming back to the Atlantic along with Cinemacanica and Naked Love to welcome this 7" into the world. The show will be $7 and everyone who comes gets a FREE copy of the 7". The 200 copies pressed on white will ONLY BE AVAILABLE AT THIS SHOW. The first 200 people in the door get them and when they're gone, they're gone. So, if you're a collector nerd like us, you have to come to this show to pick one up.
In total, this thing will be pressed in three colors, here is the breakdown:

Liquid Limbs debut full length "Orquid" is in the homestretch as well. We just got the masters back from Nick at New Alliance and the tracks sound gigantic. You can check out two of the mastered tracks on Liquid Limb's myspace page, right here.
Their record release will be at the Atlantic, on August 29th (labor day weekend), cuz they’ve been bustin balls!
It will be coming to you in the form of a 12"/CD combo and as a digital download from all major online retailers.

So, it's finally time. This weekend we release
"Live at the Atlantic Volume One" featuring Young Livers and Army of Ponch. We got the vinyl in a couple days ago and it looks awesome. We ended up with a few unexpected variation of the colors, so instead of just blue, white and marble we ended up with:
200 white,
31 dark royal blue,
269 aqua blue,
97 black swirl and
303 grey marble.
These babies are currently being hand numbered and packed in their covers. They will be on sale here on our website Saturday August 2nd. The dark royal blue copies will soon be available exclusively through Vinyl Collective, so head over there if your into that sort of thing. Copies will also be available from No Idea in the near future. Don't forget if you're in the Gainesville area that the release show is this Saturday August 2nd at the Atlantic and we will be giving away copies of the white vinyl for FREE. Come check it out!
The Liquid Limbs record will soon be on its way to the pressing plant. The artwork and the layout look killer and this should be a hell of a package. We are expecting the release in mid September.
